For the existing vacancies of B.Tech / MCA (MCA Spot admission notification) Programme at GEC Thissur, a Spot admission will be conducted on Wednesday, 15/08/2018. The candidate have to report between 10AM – 12Noon. As on 14/08/2018, Existing vacancies are as follows…

The quota may change during  the allocation process. The vacancies arising till the spot admission process will be filled during the spot.

Those who are joined in other Engineering college should have to bring the NOC (Fresh NOC for this particular spot admission) from respective colleges. Transfer to same branch is not permitted for the Govt./Govt. Aided college students. Fresh candidate has to bring all the documents Including the TC for spot. Spot Admission to B.Arch Programme on 13/08/2018

Guidelines for B Tech Spot Admission on 9 August 2018

  • Registration time: 8 am to 12 noon.
  • Those who report after 12 noon will not be considered for spot admission.
  • Fees to be paid: Rs. 8225 for General &   1000 for SC/ST/OEC.
  • In case of proxy, use the form at page 94 of the KEAM 2018 Prospectus viz. ANNEXURE – XIX, CENTRALIZED ALLOTMENT PROCESS (CAP) – 2018, AUTHORISATION LETTER, SUBMITTED BY AN AUTHORISED REPRESENTATIVE / PROXY OF CANDIDATE. Download Spot Allotment Authorisation Letter Format

Spot Allotment: Spot allotment/admission for filling up the remaining vacant seats, if any, may be conducted after the completion of the Centralised allotment process. A qualified candidate included in the rank lists concerned is entitled to attend the Spot allotment/admission Process. Candidates who have obtained admission in Government Merit seats for a course shall not be eligible to participate in the Spot Allotment for that particular course. But a candidate admitted in Government Merit Seat in a Government Controlled Self Financing College is allowed to participate in Spot Admission for a Government College for any course. The eligibility/claims of candidates admitted in Private Self Financing Institutions to participate in a Spot Allotment shall be in accordance with the conditions in the relevant Government Orders/Orders of the Hon’ble Courts. The courses under Engineering stream are listed in Annexure II (1) (b). The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations is authorized to issue necessary orders regarding Spot Admission/Allotment in due course.

 Limited seats are available in both LH and MH.  First year students can also avail the College hostel facility. Required students has to submit their application online at the time of registration at CCF.
