Smart India Hackathon 2017

AICTE is organising world’s largest Hackathon for Students. Through this Hackathon AICTE is aiming students to develop technological solutions for a live problem stated by a ministry of Government of India.

This is a 36 hour continuous Hackathon simultaneously conducted at 25+ Nodal Centres. Each Nodal Centre will develop solutions for a particular department of Central Govt. Best Teams from each Nodal Centre will be awarded with cash Prizes. Student team will get an opportunity to interact with high level officials from each departments. Departments will be implementing this solutions developed. Intellectual Property Rights will be owned by Student teams and the college.

If you have solutions to any of problems, and a team, create a brief presentation on your solution and email it with details of team members to iedc@gectcr.ac.in before December 10 12.00AM .

Your slides must include a detailed plan of action to solve the problem.

Shortlisted teams will be able to appear for prelims and present before a selection committee headed by the principal. 

The committee will select 3 teams from the prelims. Each Team should have 6 members consisting minimum of 1 girl. Each Team can have 2 mentors ( mentors can be from anywhere).

Selection will be based on Novelty, feasibility and method of implementation of the proposed idea.
