The constituent conference conducted by Department of Electrical Engineering of GECT as a part of ICETEST 2018 is on the enabling theme of ‘Power, Instrumentation, Control and Computing’ and is aptly titled ‘PICC-2018’.
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE
While more and more renewable energy resources are being explored to conserve the conventional energy resources, research and advancements are at full pace to make the planet earth carbon neutral. Electric vehicles and energy storage systems are other areas where a lot of research is taking place globally. Consequently, technology associated with Power Systems, Power Electronics and Control Systems has witnessed major challenges and promising innovations. Growing demand in the area of automation has stimulated research works in the areas of instrumentation and control as well. The main objective of the international conference, PICC-2018 is to provide a platform for researchers, academicians and professionals from the industry from all over the world to present their research results and share their ideas and expertise. The conference also provides opportunities for professional networking and collaboration with other researchers.
In tune with the above objectives, the conference secretariat requests the pleasure of participation from researchers, practitioners, academia and all interested in the theme of "Power, Instrumentation, Control and Computing" by contributing research papers as well as by attending the conference. The papers may be related to one or more of the topics as listed in the section 'Conference Topics'. Accepted and presented papers will be sent to IEEE for publication in IEEE Xplore.
