Medical Camp on 08/01/2025

NSS GECT, in association with Oasis Club and PTA, successfully conducted a medical camp on January 8, 2025, at the Millennium Auditorium of the college. The camp was organized in collaboration with Santhibhavan Palliative Hospital, Thrissur.

The camp was conducted under the guidance of several doctors from various departments of the hospital, along with volunteers from NSS, Oasis Pain and Palliative Care Unit. Many students, officials, and staff members participated in the camp.

The Principal of the college, Meenakshi K, inaugurated the camp. PTA Joint Secretary Sri. Omar and Oasis Staff Advisor Dr. Mubarak A K delivered felicitation speeches. Jomit Jose, Camp Coordinator from Shanthibhavan Hospital, presented an overview of the camp and provided necessary instructions to the participants.

The medical camp offered various services, including dental check-ups, general OP, body check-ups, blood tests, and specialized packages for arthritis, diabetes, and pregnancy health. Some services, such as doctor’s OP, dental OP, and portable dental X-ray, were provided free of charge, while others were offered at an affordable rate.

The results of the check-ups were communicated to the participants through their respective phone numbers. The camp was conducted in a hygienic and organized manner and concluded by 1 pm.
